The 6th grade boys WBDA basketball team took part in the Midwest Invitational Tournament in Lincoln on March 9th and 10th.
Wayne competed with five other teams along with Auburn, Lincoln NLU, Lincoln Northwest, Sutton and Winnebago.
On pool play, Wayne advanced with a 2-0 record after a 47-28 win over Lincoln Northwest and a 63-21 win over Winnebago.
In the championship game, Wayne fell in a tough contest against Sutton to bring home a runner-up finish. Congratulations on your season 6th grade boys!
