Sunday, March 4th, The Wayne 6th grade girls wrapped up their season with a 3rd place finish at the David City tournament. They trailed 11-0 early in the first game against the RC Mustangs, but came all the way back to win 13-12 allowing only 1 point in the second half. Wayne was defeated, by eventual champion, Cross County 34-22 in game 2. Then Wayne finished off the year with a 23-19 victory over Twin River in the 3rd place game.
