The Wayne WBDA 6th grade boys team took home runner-up honors at the Lincoln MIT Tournament this past weekend. Wayne completed in a six-team bracket along with Walthill, Syracuse, Omaha Kings, Lincoln Skyhawks and Platteview. Wayne opened the tournament by defeating Platteview 47-27 and the Lincoln Skyhawks 34-14 in pool play before falling to Walthill in a closely contested championship game to take home a silver medal.
