Breakthrough Basketball Holds Camp in Wayne

Summer Camp Time in Wayne, America!

On May 4 through May 6, Breakthrough Basketball held a 3-day Attack & Counter camp at the Wayne Community Activity Center hosted by the WBDA.  Over 50 area players attended the camp which was led by Don Kelbick.  In the camp players developed footwork, post moves, perimeter moves, guard play, ball handling, fast break skills, shooting and screening/cutting.  Throughout the camp, Coach Kelbick focused heavily on footwork and mentality, which are two of the most important aspects of becoming a better player.

Breakthrough Basketball will hold another camp July 17 through July 19 in Wayne aimed at Basketball Essential Skills such as ball handling, shooting, layups, defense, rebounding and passing.  This camp is for boys & girls, 4th – 9th grades and is sold out with 60 players planning to attend.  The camp will be at the Wayne Community Activity Center.
