Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th, the 6th Grade WBDA Boys competed in the MIT (Midwest Invitational Tournament) in Lincoln, NE. Wayne was placed in an 8 team bracket with Auburn, Southern Raiders, HTRS Titans, Lincoln Katz, Lancaster Buccaneers, Springfield Trojans and Twin River Titans. Wayne competed well throughout the weekend going undefeated, beating Auburn 38-20 and Lincoln Katz 45-25. In the Championship game, Wayne played the Lancaster Buccaneers winning 34-23.
