The Wayne 5th/6th Grade girls WBDA basketball team competed at the Laurel Youth Tournament in Laurel, Nebraska on Saturday, January 31st. On the day Wayne picked up a 20-9 win over Wakefield and an 18-12 win over Laurel to advance to the championship game. In the final, Wayne won an exciting contest over Plainview by a score of 23-19. Congratulations on your championship ladies!
