The 8th Grade Girls WBDA basketball team competed in the Norfolk NEN Tournament on Sunday, February 25th. Wayne competed in a four-team round-robin bracket. Wayne opened play with a 40-13 win over Stanton, then defeated Columbus Scotus 29-25, before finishing with a 44-17 win over Crofton to take championship honors in their division.
