Sunday, March 5th, the 8th grade WBDA team competed in the Hop’s Hoops Classic in David City, NE. The 8th grade girls division consisted of four teams, Wayne, Boone Central, David City Explorers, and David City Aquinas. The tournament was close throughout with most games won by less than six points. Wayne finished with 2nd place by beating both Aquinas and Boone Central.
