Sunday, Feb. 12, the 6th Grade Wayne White WBDA boys’ team competed in the NEN Norfolk YMCA Basketball Tournament.  Their Division III bracket consisted of two pools.  The red pool included Norfolk White, Wayne White and Norfolk Catholic White while the black pool included Norfolk Maroon, Elkhorn Valley (Tilden) and St. Mary’s (O’Neill).  The Wayne team played well sweeping their pool beating Norfolk 38-27 and Norfolk Catholic 44-9.  In the Championship game, Wayne faced Elkhorn Valley in a hard fought game and finished with 1st place winning 42-33.  Congratulations to the players and coaches!  #wayneyouthbasketball
