The Jr. High WBDA Girls Basketball Team won their division of the Clash of the Plains Tournament on Sunday, February 15th. Wayne competed in a six-team bracket featuring Niobrara/Verdigre, Norfolk Catholic Red, Norfolk Catholic White, Pierce and Vermillion.
Wayne opened the day in pool play, going 2-0 with wins over Norfolk Catholic White (47-10) and Niobrara/Verdigre (55-9). In the championship game, Wayne was able to pick up a great 39-26 win over Norfolk Catholic Red for top honors. Congratulations ladies!
