The 5th/6th Grade WBDA Girls Basketball team took place in the 6th grade division of the Clash of the Plains Tournament in Wayne on February 14, 2026. Wayne competed in an 8-team bracket against Cedar Catholic, Laurel, North Bend, Pender, Pierce, Plainview/Osmond, and Randolph.
Wayne opened tournament play with a 17-10 win over Pierce. In the semifinals, Wayne dropped a tough contest to North Bend by a score of 24-23. In the third-place game, Wayne bounced back with a 30-27 win over Laurel to take home the bronze medal following a 2-1 finish on the day. Congrats ladies!
