The 7th grade boys WBDA basketball team kicked off their junior high season with a second-place finish at the Pierce Youth Boys Basketball Tournament in Pierce on Sunday, December 7th. The opening game saw Wayne fall in a competitive contest with Cedar Catholic that got away late, 40-26. Wayne would rebound and win their next two games in the four-team round-robin tournament, defeating Pierce 40-15 and taking down Columbus Lakeview 40-25 in the final. Congrats on a great start to your season 7th graders!
