The 5th/6th grade WBDA girls basketball team took part in the Laurel Basketball Tournament on Saturday, January 11th. Wayne competed in a five-team bracket along with Creighton, Laurel, Ponca, and Wisner.
Wayne picked up victories over Creighton, and Wisner before falling to Ponca in a closely-contested championship game to earn runner-up honors. Congratulations to the 5th and 6th grade girls!
