The 4th/5th Grade Girls WBDA Team won their division at the 2023 WBDA Tournament on Saturday, February 18th. The girls competed in a four-team bracket along with Hartington-Newcastle, Randolph and Elkhorn Valley. Wayne opened the day with a 22-4 win over Randolph and followed up with a 24-9 win over Elkhorn Valley. Wayne closed out competition with a 18-9 win over Hartington-Newcastle to finish 3-0 in the round-robin bracket to take home the gold medal.
