Saturday, January 27th, the 5th grade boys WBDA team competed in the Monarch Classic in David City, NE. The 5th grade boys division consisted of three teams; Wayne, David City and Columbus Lakeview. Wayne first played David City and came away with a solid 36-13 win. In Wayne’s second game, they faced Columbus Lakeview. The game was close throughout. Wayne competed well, but lost in the end, 20-19. With the loss to Columbus, Wayne finished with 2nd place. Congratulations players and coaches! #wayneyouthbasketball
