Saturday, January 21st the 7th Grade WBDA Girls competed in a tournament in Crofton, NE. The team played 3 games in the tourney first beating Sioux City West 21-17 and then Crofton’s 7th grade team 30-28. In the championship game Wayne played the Crofton 8th grade team. At the end of the 1st quarter the score was 11-14 but Crofton continued pressure and a strong inside game beating Wayne 53-23. Wayne finish with 2nd place in the tournament.
